Travelling with children

Travelling with your family on board our ferries to France or Spain is not only easy; it's all part of the fun! On Pont-Aven, whether they're tots or teenagers, there's plenty to keep you and your kids occupied. Connemara has a more limited choice of activities on board so we recommend you pack everything you need to keep everyone entertained.

On board Pont-Aven

Children travelling on Pont-Aven can have fun in the playroom, splash about in the swimming pool or even take part in the many activities that are arranged on board from magic shows to balloon modelling; games to treasure hunts.

Older children might like to spend their time on the arcade machines or at one of the onboard cinemas.

The day's entertainment programme is available at the Information Desk, with more information at the entrances to, or inside, the main bar.

On board you'll find changing areas, microwaves, high chairs and lifts for buggies. You can also request a cot for your cabin.

On board Connemara

During the crossing we have a range of board games and puzzles available to borrow from the Information Desk. Children can also play to their heart's content in the small play area located close to the restaurant.
