Can I take an oxygen cylinder onboard?

Customers needing medical oxygen whilst on board may still travel with us on any of our ferries, however only quantities sufficient for personal use may be carried.

A maximum of 6 x 10L (aggregate water volume) cylinders may be carried in the vehicle. The cylinders must be adequately secured in the vehicle against the movement of the ship, away from sources of heat and ignition and must be shut off during the crossing. Only 1 cylinder can be taken to the public areas and used only in non-smoking areas as designated by the Captain. Customers should also bring a letter from their doctor stating that the use of medical oxygen is required.

Please contact us with your booking reference prior to travel.
