Hotel & course information

Hotel le Versailles, Versailles

Hotel le Versailles, Versailles

This pleasant hotel is in a quiet residential area a few hundred metres from the beautiful Château de Versailles, Louis XIV's greatest creation. It has an attractive breakfast room that interconnects with a large terrace and the comfortable bedrooms are all air conditioned.

Restaurants are nearby or the lively district of Notre Dame with its cobblestone streets, antique shops and well-known market is just a short walk.

Whilst here you can also see France in a day in miniature at Elancourt where all the major monuments and châteaux have been recreated in model form. And central Paris is only 15 minutes by train. Garage parking approx. 15 euros/night.

FGI005 Golf National Albatros Golf National Albatros

Golf National Albatros, Guyancourt

Ranked amongst Europe's top courses, Albatros has hosted the French Open on all but two occasions since 1991 (when Argentine Eduardo Romero became the inaugural winner here) and will host the 2018 Ryder Cup. This means we mere mortals have five years left to try out this wonderful course before the likes of McIlroy, Fowler and co take centre stage.

So, what can we expect? Huge greens for starters (be warned, they're super slick in the sun), well guarded by plentiful water and sand traps.

It's a challenging course, but with a variety of tee placements to make it manageable for the average player. It's the ideal place to play if you're looking to get a first hand flavour of the future of one of golf's greatest events.

Golf de Rochefort Golf de Rochefort

Golf de Rochefort, Rochefort En Yvelines

Set in the heart of the forest of Rambouillet the course extends to over 110 hectares and is built on sand which ensures it is playable all year round.

This stunning course winds its way through the forest and you play your round without seeing other players as each hole is individually presented. The castle sits above the course and offers comfortable surroundings with views from the terrace over the forest and course.

Golf de Bethemont Golf de Bethemont

Golf de Bethemont, Poissy

Located just 20 minutes from Paris the course was designed by two-times Masters Champion Bernhard Langer. The owners were foreign investors and nothing was left to chance with the layout or use of the splendid Chateaux which is used as the clubhouse.

The course, which is par 72, is routed through mature woodland and requires accuracy and at times careful consideration from the tee. You also enjoy some spectacular views towards Paris from the course.
