Property Description

This site is 2k from the small seaside resort of Beg Meil & close toFouesnant (4.5k), the cider-making capital of the region - severalproducers offer tastings & visits. This area has many pretty villages &towns to discover such as Bénodet, Concarneau, Quimper & Pont Aven.

The 9-hectare Atlantique site has 432 pitches in an excellent position400m from a south-facing sandy beach. There are lovely coastal footpaths &children will enjoy the aquapark & play areas on site. Most sportingactivities are catered for here or nearby.

Max: 4/5 - Chalet style mobile homes have living room with table/chairs, paddedseating (converts to single bed), kitchen corner (4 ring hob,fridge/freezer + microwave), double & twin bedroom (plus pull-down bunkbed), shower, wc. French windows to wooden terrace with garden furniture(bbq hire 10 euros/week). Tv hire 40 euros/week.

Max: 6 - As above except double bed is king size and there is an additional twinbedroom. Sofa, not sofa bed in living room.

SPORTS - Tennis, sportsground (football, basketball, volleyball). Table tennis.Pony riding (5 euros for 20 mins), archery 3 euros per hour (1/7-31/8).Fishing 400m. Canoeing 3k.

FOR CHILDREN - Free activities for 4-12 year olds (Mon-Fri, 1/7-31/8). Play area.

OTHER ACTIVITIES - Entertainment & themed evenings (1/7-31/8). Sports activities forteenagers. Mini golf. Disco in Bénodet, 10k.

SWIMMING - Heated outdoor pool (0.2m to 2.5m deep, open 15/5-7/9) with waterslides,flumes & paddling pool. Indoor pool (0.2m to 1.3m deep) with sliding roof& jacuzzi.

End of stay cleaning - 65 euros.

Bed linen hire - (disposable type) 12 euros per bed.

Baby facilities - Hire of cot, baby bath & high chair 4 euros each per day.

We quickly settled into a daily routine - late breakfast, a couple ofhours on the beach, lunch then time for the kids to play in the poolswhile adults take a well earned rest. All followed by an evening barbecuewashed down with a bottle or two.

A two minute walk to the pool and five minutes to the sea is a child'sidea of heaven. The beach at L'Atlantique is reached after a leisurelystroll through woods and dunes and there is little there but extensivesands and gentle surf - a perfect place to relax.
