Can I book a table in the restaurant online, or on the phone?

It is not possible to pre-book a table in our restaurants either online or through our Reservations Centres. Spaces in the restaurant must be booked once you embark and operate on a first come serve basis.

Are there any televisions in the public areas?

Televisions can be found in self-service restaurants on certain vessels in the fleet. We do not guarantee that we can broadcast any specific transmission that is requested.

Do I get a blanket with my reclining seat?

Since the 1st July 2009, complementary blankets are no longer be available, instead you may purchase a Sleep Pack from the onboard information desk for €4.70 consisting of a blanket, inflatable pillow, sleep mask and earplugs.

Will the restaurant be open when I travel?

The restaurant opening times vary according to the ships’ departure and arrivals, and the length of the crossing. Exact opening times will be on display outside each food outlet.

How much does it cost to use the swimming pool?

There is no charge to use the swimming pool on the Pont-Aven.

Are there any health services on board?

Limited medical services may be available on board. Where they are, there may be a charge for their use. Any special needs or boarding arrangements must be clearly specified at the time of booking.

Are towels and/or blankets provided in the cabins?

Yes, there will be one small/medium towel per berth in the cabin. All berths have suitable bedding supplied( blanket, pillow, underlay).

What entertainment is there on board?

There are a number of options to keep you entertained while on board, including relaxing in the bar with its live acts, DJs and dancing, playing in the games rooms or sunbathing on the sundeck.

Here are a few more onboard facilities you'll find across our fleet:

Children’s playroom: Young children can enjoy fun and games in our supervised playroom.

Cinemas: Enjoy the latest films in our ships’ cinemas, featuring surround sound.

Games Room and Slot Machines: Our games rooms will keep teenagers entertained throughout the trip. We have the latest video games and air hockey. Alternatively, try your luck with our slot machines.

On Deck: Weather permitting, you can soak up the sun outside on deck and enjoy the scenic views when leaving and arriving into port.

Shows: Our ship’s talented entertainers put on a number of shows, including live music, magic shows, quizzes, and DJs. Performances are held throughout the day and continue into the small hours.

Swimming Pool & Leisure: Have a splash in the ship’s swimming pool.

Is there a waiting list for cabins?

It is not possible for us to maintain a waiting list facility for cabins. If you were not able to reserve the onboard accommodation of your choice at the time of booking it is advisable to phone periodically to see if there have been any cancellations. It is also a good idea to ask at the information desk when you get on board.

Are there any ATMs on board?

There is a cash point machine on the Pont-Aven, situated in the fruit machine area on deck 8, next to the main bar.

Are there any plug sockets in the cabins/on the vessels?

There are plug sockets in most cabins. Additionally shaving sockets can be found in all cabins with ensuite facilities. These are European sockets that require an adaptor in order to use a standard UK plug. Adaptors can be bought on board subject to availability.

Are animals allowed in cabins or public areas of the ship?

For hygiene reasons, and the comfort of other passengers, animals must stay in the kennels.

What forms of payment are accepted for on board purchases?

You can pay for items onboard in either Euros and/or GBP (Sterling), cheques must be supported by a guarantee card, and visa/ MasterCard are also accepted. We do not accept Switch or Laser cards.

How big are the cots?

The cots that we supply are ideally suited for infants of twelve months and under. There is limited floor space in the cabin once a cot is in position. Exact dimensions: Length = 110cm, width = 50cm, depth = 45cm
