Why do you charge a credit card fee?
For clients wishing to pay by credit card, we will make a small charge of €7.50 per booking. This is to recover the credit companies’ charges to us. This will be itemised on your confirmation.
Can I claim compensation for a cancelled or delayed sailing?
Sailing schedules may be interrupted and/or crossing times extended due to adverse weather conditions and/or tidal condition, unforeseen operational or technical reasons. We cannot accept liability for any costs or inconvenience caused in these and other circumstances where ‘force majeure’ applies, i.e. matters outside our control; for example, extreme weather conditions, unforeseen technical breakdown, strike action or blockade of ports.
We will try to notify you using the contact numbers provided to us at the time of booking. If a travel service is not delivered or alternative is unacceptable, then a full refund will be given for that portion of the holiday cost. It may be necessary to use alternative ships on any sailing or to change/withdraw the facilities/services available for various operational, technical or scheduling reasons.
Can I change my booking?
An amendment fee of €15 is payable for any change to your booking within 46 days of departure excluding any addition of insurance and/or en route accommodation.
How can I make a complaint/ complement?
If you find cause for complaint or complement whilst travelling with us, or in your dealings with our Company, please notify our staff as we would wish to resolve the matter immediately. If we are unable to do so, then please write to Customer Services, Brittany Ferries, Millbay, Plymouth, PL1 3EW within 30 days of the problem occurring quoting your booking reference.
