Can I transport a dangerous weapon?

No dangerous goods or firearms cannot be brought on board without our written permission. If in doubt as to whether items qualify as dangerous goods, please ask us before travel or boarding may be refused. If you are carrying these items with our permission please report to the Duty Manager at check in.

The transport of petrol cans is specifically forbidden.

When must I check in?

You must check in at least 60 minutes before the sailing’s scheduled departure time, otherwise your space cannot be guaranteed. If you have special requirements, are travelling with pets, or have received our permission to carry dangerous goods, please arrive at least 90 minutes before sailing.

How long does disembarkation take?

Disembarkation takes place shortly after arrival at the destination port. We cannot give an average length of time for disembarking. When travelling in a vehicle, you may be asked to wait for other vehicles to clear the car decks to make disembarkation easier for you. For passengers travelling without a vehicle, there may be a short delay whilst the car decks are cleared.
