Your Selected Question

I am registered disabled. How do I book?

If you travel with a pre-diagnosed condition then travel is entirely at your own risk and you should obtain advice from your own doctor before travelling. If you are travelling as a disabled passenger then please notify us at the time of booking and on arrival at the port, so that we may endeavour to accommodate your needs. We have a number of cabins adapted for disabled passengers and lift facilities for ease of movement between most decks; however, facilities are limited on several of our vessels so please enquire at the time of booking. Our staff will also be pleased to provide information on the suitability of accommodation for people with disabilities. Disabled cabins can now be booked on the website.

Can I be parked near a lift?

Please complete the "Passenger Details" section on the fifth step of your online booking, advising us of all necessary information. When you arrive at the port when travelling in a vehicle, sticker/s indicating your special needs will then be applied to your windscreen. This allows the loading officer to identify your vehicle, you may also be asked to switch on your hazard warning lights. The vehicle will be directed into a specific lane to allow for suitable loading to give better access to the ship’s lifts. The loading configuration and constraints of each ship will vary and there is no need to worry if many other cars are loaded whilst you are still waiting to go on board. Proximity to the lifts will also depend on the number of vehicles on the sailing with ‘special needs ’passengers. We ask that passengers with special needs inform us, well in advance of their travel dates, of any special requirements. These must be clearly specified at the time of booking. You must arrive at least 90 minutes prior to the departure time in order for us to park your vehicle close to a lift.
