Brittany Ferries holidays french collection voted best tour operator to france 2006 by maison de la france

Maison de la France has given Brittany Ferries Holidays an enormous accolade by naming it "Best Tour Operator to France 2006". The independent judging panel that made the award was made up of representatives from across the industry, comprising Accor Hotels, The Coach Tourism Council (UK), Rail Europe, Air France, Sea France and Association of British Travel Organisers to France.

Following the award ceremony held at the Novotel last week, Managing Director of Maison de la France, Christian Lepage said:" The attractions of taking your own car on a holiday to France are unfortunately not as widely appreciated as it should, and I applaud Brittany Ferries Holidays in their efforts to expand this market. This award is well deserved."

Hugh Bruton, General Manager of Brittany Ferries Ireland, commented: "We have expanded an already huge programme of self-drive holidays by adding special interest and activity holidays, such as spas, cycling and wine tours to provide something for everyone. This year our package prices make it easier for customers to see what outstanding value our holidays offer, especially for families when you consider what you might otherwise pay per person for flights, accommodation and car rental. We are pleased to see that bookings are running ahead of last year"

With a massive selection of gites, cottages, apartments, villas, hotels, campsites and even river cruisers to choose from, the Brittany Ferries French Collection brochure is the ultimate guide to self-drive holidays and breaks throughout France.
